On September 22, 2025, the faithful gathered at Saint Sava’s Monastery in Libertyville, Illinois, for a special celebration of the Akathist to Saint Mardarije, the first Serbian Orthodox bishop of America and Canada. This prayerful service was followed by the Annual Picnic, hosted together by Saint George Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, and Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Church.
