Leg length difference (LLD) can be caused by pelvic imbalances, called a functional LLD, and by fractures to the tibia and femur, called an anatomical LLD. An anatomical LLD needs to be treated with a lift, and a functional LLD is treated by figuring out what’s over and underworking.
