Move Over, Slow Down: It's the Law. DPS wants to remind Texas motorists to Move Over or Slow Down law for police, fire, EMS, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) vehicles and tow trucks stopped on the side of the road with emergency lights activated. Please show the same courtesy to fellow drivers who are stopped on the side of the road. Moving over or slowing helps ensure the safety of those working on the side of the road, and it could mean the difference between life and death. 🎥 Court
