Since so many people will be interested in playing SA2 thanks to the 3rd movie, I decided to compile a comprehensive list of mods that enhance and fix the vanilla experience without changing the game dramatically.

Jul 12, 2016 · If you buy SA2, you are getting the Dreamcast port. The Battle DLC only adds in a few features. That's just not true. The Dreamcast version has many differences such as the character models, menu, lighting, some objects and layouts in the levels, completely different Chao system, I could go on. None of that is in the PC port.

Aug 16, 2022 · Sonic Adventure 1 PAL version, since it runs at 30 FPS, runs pretty good, almost perfect. SA2 on the other hand, suffers a bit, so maybe with a 30 FPS patch the game would run better. AFAIK, SA2 Multiplayer mode runs locked at 30 FPS; so maybe that could be applied to all the game with some CodeBreaker code or similar, like presented here for SA1?

Nov 18, 2017 · Anyways, Sonic Adventure 2. I'll just say it right now; I think that SA2 is overrated and overhated at the same time (*cough* *cough* ProJared *cough*). It seems that people are a little too harsh on the Adventure games, treating them like they came out just this summer, and not 15 years ago.

Quick question for those who've bought the game. Is this the Dreamcast or Gamecube version of SA2? I already have the GC version, so I don't really want to risk getting a second version of a game I already have. I hope it's DC, I really want that particular set of Chao Gardens...

Dec 19, 2021 · Adventure 2 was the name of the original Dreamcast game. Adventure 2 Battle was a mostly enhanced Gamecube port that added more multiplayer options, Chao Karate, and some small gameplay tweaks. Kind of like how Adventure 1 got the DX port later. In terms of Steam, the Battle DLC is just Chao Karate and Multiplayer options from the Gamecube version.
