Jul 19, 2004 · Before I decided to change carbs I ran a "before & after" on an engine dyno computer program, and it looks like with the 40mm Weber and 32mm venturis, one loses 1 or 2 hp at 8000rpm, but you gain 1 lb.ft. of torque.

Jun 22, 2005 · If re-jetting your Weber doesn't make it idle and run better, at the very least in the low range from idle on up to half throttle, then you should check the intake manifolds for air leaks, and perhaps consider dismantling the carb for a good cleaning.

Nov 18, 2020 · I had all time plenty of problems with Weber in my 750 Paso no matter i changed/tested/changed/ tested again all possible. Most difficult was that typical "flat spot" in 90-110Km/h. Then i changed to 40mm Dellortos, but they were too big ones to 750cc Pantah.

Jan 20, 2025 · The carbs are real easy to adjust or rebuild, and they are Italian, and they work w/o fail. No fuel pump in the system is, I believe a good thing. The Del'ortos are simple and appropriate to the 750 Paso methinks and that's my two cents.

Jan 19, 2005 · I converted my 87 paso to the dellorto 40mm pumper carbs also using the malossi kit. Easy to install, easy to tune, and what a difference! Can recommend it highly.

Feb 13, 2014 · I need help with the weber on my 906 Paso. I am wondering if anyone can offer any info on how to tune the carb without a vacuum guage or other apparatus . Just looking for a good starting point and can tune by ear from there.
