“Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” will debut Out of Competition at the Grand Théâtre Lumière on Wednesday, May 14. Actor/producer Cruise, his long-time collaborator director/screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie, and the rest of the cast will walk the steps of the Palais des Festivals on the red carpet.

The Cannes Film Festival can add a major Hollywood star to its guest list: Tom Cruise (62) will grace the Croisette on May 14, as announced by the festival on April 8. And he's bringing a very special film: The action star will present his highly anticipated eighth "Mission Impossible" installment "The Final Reckoning".
