Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco was hit with a gun charge over an incident in November as he is tried for allegedly sexually abusing a minor.

He has been charged in the Dominican Republic’s northern province of Puerto Plata with sexually abusing a minor, sexual and commercial exploitation against a minor and human trafficking.
