The 150th Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland is set for Saturday, May 17, 2025. The Preakness will be broadcast on NBC networks. Streaming options will be available on Fubo (which offers a free trial) and Peacock.

The favorite heading into this year’s race at Pimlico is not the Kentucky Derby. Sovereignty’s team has elected to skip the Preakness, and a shot at the Triple Crown, joining Rich Strike as the second winner in the Run for the Roses to pull out of the following race.
