Kroger responded to backlash after a TikTok showed poorly decorated Juneteenth cakes with phrases like “Free @ Last” and “Congratulations” at an Atlanta store.
Kroger confirmed to USA TODAY on June 23 that the products "have been removed." "I still feel some type of way that they didn't replace it with better Juneteenth cakes," the user said in the video.
