A boil water advisory issued for Fair Oaks Drive has been lifted. Water quality tests deemed Fair Oaks Drive area water was safe for consumption, resulting in the lifting of the advisory Sunday, according to the City of Kalamazoo.

City officials said the advisory for residents on and near Golfview Avenue is precautionary after a water main break caused temporary pressure loss in the area.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A boil water advisory for Buchanan Avenue has been issued by the City of Kalamazoo. A water main break resulting in a temporary loss of pressure prompted the advisory for areas around Buchanan Avenue, Ash Street, Pierce Avenue, South Burdick Street and Leona Avenue, according to Kalamazoo officials.
