The Guadalupe River has risen to catastrophic levels in the same area three times in the past century, impacting camps and campers each time.

The organizations working together to help the flood victims said that 'no additional in-kind donations (clothing, food, supplies) are needed in Kerrville.' They said the best way to help is with monetary donations.

Nineteen local and state agencies were still combing the Guadalupe River on foot, boat and helicopter and with dogs and drones, Kerrville City Manager Dalton Rice said. He declined to provide an estimate of how many people are still missing,
