A NEXT Weather Alert is in effect on Sunday night as multiple counties in the Philadelphia region are under a flash flood warning due to heavy rain.

A flash flood warning has been issued for three New Jersey counties on Sunday evening as severe thunderstorms hit parts of the state. The flash flood warning has been issued for Essex, Hudson, and Union counties until 9:15 p.m.

At 10:01 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued an updated flash flood warning in effect until Monday at midnight for Bucks County.

On Sunday at 10:01 p.m. an updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Monday at midnight for Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Heavy rains triggered flash floods in parts of Telangana, inundating low-lying areas, damaging roads and crops. Rivulets, streams, lakes and ponds were overflowing due to incessant rains under the impact of low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Coconino County, including Sedona, starting at 5:27 p.m. Aug. 15. The warning expires at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 15.

On Saturday at 2:04 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated flash flood watch valid between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley as well as Harney, Baker and Malheur counties.

Chinese state media say a flash flood has swept through a campsite in north China, killing several people and leaving others missing.

"The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a Flash Flood Warning for: Eastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona, Until 5:45 p.m. MST. At 4:49 p.m. MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
