Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is reportedly making progress in her road to recovery from a lingering back injury. The latest update on the 23-year-old is that she has been doing “on-court activities,” which is a crucial development as she slowly works her way back.

Growing attendance at Wintrust Arena is a real story, even with the Sky’s rough record. Its subplots include the Reese effect and a surge sweeping the rest of the league.

While Reese has been sidelined, the Sky have struggled to find consistency on either end of the floor. She’s proven to be one of the most versatile forwards in the WNBA, so the loss of Reese has been big for head coach Tyler Marsh.
