Freezing drizzle producing a light glaze of ice is possible Wednesday in areas that include northeast Kansas, the National Weather Service says.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued on Wednesday morning for Topeka and northeast Kansas. The advisory, issued by the National Weather Service, is in effect until 3 p.m. Wednesday. Freezing drizzle and additional ice accumulations along with a light glaze are possible,

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Weather Service has extended a winter weather advisory to include the Kansas City area. It will go into effect at 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning and last until 6 p.m. The advisory includes Clay, Jackson, Ray and Platte counties in Missouri and Atchison, Leavenworth, Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.
