While just three former players actually represent the M's in Cooperstown, there are eight links to the franchise with a plaque at the Hall of Fame.

Ichiro will be officially be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday, July 27, joining fellow Mariners legends Edgar Martinez and Ken Griffey Jr. in baseball’s sacred club.

Ichiro Suzuki began his U.S. professional career in Seattle with the Mariners and played a total of 14 seasons with the organization. Born in Japan, Ichiro played nine seasons in the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) league before crossing the Pacific Ocean to join the Mariners.
