Sometime last year, Tate Ratledge got a tattoo of a lion on his right forearm, artwork that he said "came full circle" when the Detroit Lions traded up three spots to take him in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Tate Ratledge is a former five-star recruit out of Rome, Georgia who started three straight seasons for the Bulldogs.

Ratledge was a three-year starter for Georgia in a blocking scheme that is relatively similar to what the Lions use, with some gap/power concepts but also some outside zone. He exclusively played right guard for the Bulldogs.
