Tom Cruise was not among the recipients at this year's Kennedy Center Honors, and the reason for his absence has finally been revealed.

Cruise earned Oscar nominations for his performances in Born on the Fourth of July, Jerry Maguire and Magnolia, and also earned a Best Picture nomination as producer on Top Gun: M

Earlier this week, President Trump unveiled the 2025 class of Kennedy Center honorees. Missing from that list was actor Tom Cruise, who reportedly was offered the honor but turned down the invitation due to 'scheduling conflicts.
