Experts who help predict hurricanes were among hundreds fired at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The ban announced Wednesday applies to citizens of Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
