News 5 is learning more about a homicide that occurred on Jan. 20 in East Milton. Toby White of Milton was arrested Saturday in connection with the stabbing death of Lucy Reed, 77, who was killed in front of her husband last week.

After a family member asked deputies to check on Allen Phillips, he was found dead in his home with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene in the 4300 block of Hoen Avenue after police responded about 9:25 p.m. to a reported disturbance at an apartment, police Sgt. Patricia Seffens told The Press Democrat Sunday.
