HBO’s The Gilded Age completed the feat of a full season logging viewership growth every single week as the Season 3 finale tallied 5.0 million U.S. cross-platform viewers in its first 3 days of availability.

In the season 4 renewal announcement, Erin Underhill, president of Universal Television, said, "Thanks to [Fellowes] and the phenomenally talented cast and crew, each season of The Gilded Age delivers stories rich in drama and history, stellar performances and stunning production value."
