ATLANTA, Ga.- The Auburn Tigers are opening this season treading on different territory than the previous two seasons, going on the road week one against Baylor on Aug. 29 to open the new campaign.

Auburn's defensive backfield will be the most experienced unit on the field, but will be tested greatly in week one with Baylor's aerial attack on Aug. 29 in Waco.

Auburn football began fall camp on July 29, earlier than usual this year. The prompt start is due to the team’s opening game at Baylor scheduled for August 29th.

That gives Auburn a month to prepare for its season-opener at Baylor on Aug. 29, (7 p.m. CT, FOX) and according to Hugh Freeze, his program will begin the practice session at full health.
