Midland posted a fall in second-quarter profit on Tuesday, hurt by weakness in oilseed crush margins and weak performance in its grain origination and crushing business. The results come as the U.S.-based grain merchant braces for an impact from President Donald Trump's policies as well as plans to impose sweeping tariffs on most imports.
