Kristen Saban, Nick's daughter, shut down rumors of her father's return, bluntly posting "he's not coming back to coaching. McElroy, Saban's former quarterback and college football analyst, began the rumor on his radio show that the seven-time national champion would return to coaching at some point.

Nick Saban does not sound like he's itching to return to the sidelines despite a recent report that the seven-time champion could come back.

"There is no opportunity that I know of right now that would entice me to go back to coaching," Saban said. "I enjoy what I'm doing. I did it for 50 years. I loved it. I loved the relationship with the players.
