Nearly two months after his passing on June 11, 2025, Brian Wilson, co-founder and creative heart of The Beach Boys, was laid to rest in a private ceremony on August 6, 2025.

Wilson was 82. “We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved father Brian Wilson has passed away,” Wilson’s family said in a statement shared on social media on Thursday.

Following his funeral, Brian Wilson's daughter, Carnie Wilson, has paid an emotional tribute to the late Beach Boys icon who died in June aged 82.
