Polar-powered: Pete Alonso returns to Mets on two-year contract with player option
On Wednesday night, the Mets and Alonso agreed to a two-year, $54 million deal for the first baseman to return to Flushing, according to multiple reports. The deal will include $30 million in 2025 and a $24 million player option for 2026, the New York Post's Jon Heyman reported.
