Retail giant Nordstrom is closing its sprawling Santa Monica Place store as it restructures its network to try to better target customers who have moved to online shopping.

The Nordstrom store inside the Santa Monica Place is shutting down after nearly 15 years at the iconic location.

As Nordstrom continues its increased focus on its “Nordstrom Local” stores and online sales, it’s closing its location in Santa Monica Place mall.
