Some of the people behind Salt Lake City’s "No Kings" protest are speaking out for the first time since the event and accidental shooting that happened at the protest.

The Women’s March is urging people to participate in “ Free America Weekend, ” dovetailing with “ No Kings 2.0 ” protests held by local Indivisible chapters on Independence Day.

The widespread protests, dubbed “No Kings,” declared that we will tolerate “no thrones, no crowns, no kings.” This was not our first organized protest against monarchical rule.
