The Southern Nevada Health District has proposed changes to existing septic system regulations, including revoking permanent septic system permits and changing them to five-year permits.
SNHD is considering ending permanent septic permits, and replacing them with a five-year permit that would cost homeowners $226 each time, and would require inspections.
