Pennsylvania voters head to the polls today to vote in the 2025 general election. There are no federal offices up for vote this year, though the election still features several key city, state and local offices on the ballot. While Pennsylvania does not offer early in-person voting, some voters cast ballots by mail.

The polls closed at 8 p.m. for election day in Western Pennsylvania. The biggest race in the area was for Pittsburgh mayor, while the retention bids of three Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices are also getting considerable public attention and financial support.

The snow season looks to start near average with 2 inches possible in November. Winter officially begins in December, but the snow forecast is calling for a little more than an inch below average, with 4 inches forecast for the month.
