Finalists for eight of The Associated Press' 2024 NFL awards, including the five players in contention for MVP, were revealed on Thursday.

In his second season in Denver, Payton led the Broncos to their first 10-win season and first playoff appearance since 2015.

Every year, the NFL awards players, coaches, and more with honors that could be added to their eventual resume for Hall of Fame consideration. These honors are comprised of MVP, Comeback Player of the Year, and more.

The National Football League announced the finalists for some of the top honors of the season, and several Denver Broncos team members are on the list.

No 49ers were named finalists for any major awards after a disappointing 6-11 season, but one Raider made the cut.
