Send Texts From a Computer With Google Messages The Google Messages app lets you send and receive text messages, photos, voice messages, and videos from your computer.

There are quite a few things that could be preventing you from sending text messages on an Android phone.

Tap Messages. Under "Text Messaging," select RCS Messaging. Toggle RCS Messaging to the green ON position if it isn't already enabled.

Check if you are receiving text messages there before trying other fixes. If you receive texts on Google Messages, stick with it until your preferred app is updated.

3. Messages via satellite Once connected, your iPhone will alert you on your lock screen that you can send and receive messages via satellite.
