A manager at the PNC Bank in Zebulon held the bank's door shut when a suspect with a gun tried to enter.

A mother and her 2 children were kidnapped Friday morning by a man who invaded their home, stole their car and then robbed the PNC Bank branch on Shelbyville Road.

Diego Ananias Arellano Diaz was arrested and charged with bank robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery, federal prosecutors said Thursday.
