The WNBA has upgraded the technical foul on the Connecticut Sun’s Marina Mabrey for shoving the Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark to the court to a Flagrant-2.

Clark and Sheldon, who played at rival Big Ten schools, got into a bit of a shouting and shoving match in the second quarter, which resulted in Mabrey shoving Clark before the fight was broken up. However, the incident that took social media by storm occurred with 4:48 remaining in the third quarter.

Caitlin Clark, once again, found herself at the center of a physical showdown on Tuesday night (June 18), as the Indiana Fever clashed with the Connecticut Sun in a bruising WNBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinal at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
