A woman from Stanislaus County who was reported missing last week has been found dead in a community near Fresno, authorities announced Monday.

Kelsy Ramos, the 44-year-old Newman resident who mysteriously disappeared on Friday from Turlock, was found deceased on Monday, the Turlock Police Department reported.

Ramos was last seen by family members around 10:30 a.m. May 2 in Newman. By 10:55 a.m., she was reportedly in Turlock, driving her white 2017 Nissan Versa near Fulkerth Road and Countryside Drive. Later that day, at 3:23 p.m., her vehicle was confirmed to be in Fresno on West Shaw Avenue.
