Manchester United settled for a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16.

However, their momentum was halted by a resurgent Manchester City side who wrestled their demons to emerge from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a narrow 1-0 win. Nevertheless, Tottenham will head into the game against AZ on the back of a four-game unbeaten streak in the Europa League.
