Doctor Odyssey, which also stars Phillipa Soo, Sean Teale and Don Johnson, averages about 8 million viewers in Nielsen’s cross-platform ratings, which measure viewing over 35 days. That ranks fifth among ABC dramas — behind High Potential, Will Trent, 911 and The Rookie — and seventh overall on the network this season (not including sports).

Meanwhile over in the captain’s quarters, Captain Massey ( Don Johnson) was contemplating his future on The Odyssey. His decision to go back and help victims of an earthquake and tsunami combo caused Massey to temporarily be relieved of his duties.
