Road crews on both sides of the river are battling the latest round of winter weather, with MoDOT and IDOT crews working 12-hour shifts to clear roadways and plow snow from the roadway routinely.

MoDOT officials say as more snow moves into the region, its crews will clear major interstates first, then state-numbered and lettered routes, then shoulders. IDOT officials say that crews are out Friday morning in anticipation of the next round of winter weather.
