The Magic Keyboard is one of Apple’s most brilliant successes. Now there’s a choice of colors for the new models, but one detail, borne out of Apple’s perfectionism, may be less welcome.

When Apple launched the 2020 iPad Pro last month — the fastest tablet we’ve tested — it also announced the Magic Keyboard for the iPad ($299 for the 11- model, $349 for the 12.9-inch model.

The Magic Keyboard is easily the best keyboard accessory for the iPad Air and iPad Pro, at least if you’re looking for a laptop-like experience. It’s not cheap though.
