A woman lost her arm over the weekend after she was attacked by a lion inside a zoo in Australia. According to a news release from the Darling Downs Zoo in Queensland, a 50-year-old woman was watching animal keepers working in the zoo’s carnivore precinct on the morning of July 6.

Several news sources say the woman lost her arm in the attack, but zoo officials said the lion will not be "put down or punished in any way."
