Two people were found dead inside a home in Hoover Tuesday morning from what police believe was a murder-suicide. Police were called to a home in the 700 block of Highland Manor Court just after 9 a.m.

An 18-wheeler crash on Interstate I-65 in Hoover Tuesday morning left one person dead. The crash happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Interstate 65 near the U.S. 31 exit. According to Hoover police, the 18-wheeler ran off the interstate and traveled down an embankment into the wooded area.
