The National Hockey League suspended "indefinitely" Florida Panthers minority owner Doug Cifu from all league activities and team involvement after "inappropriate" social media posts to a Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky discussed facing the Maple Leafs and ex-teammate Anthony Stolarz in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

As William Nylander took the pass just over the blue line, with only Gustav Forsling racing to catch up, as he flicked the shot on Bobrovsky from near the top of the right circle, Bobrovsky faced him. Just above the crease, he angled his body toward Nylander, his right pad knocking the puck away.

Although the Florida Panthers trail 2-0 to the Toronto Maple Leafs, head coach Paul Maurice isn't worried about goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. It's the opposite. After a rough Game 1, Bobrovsky bounced back, despite giving up four goals. The Florida head coach said what he thought went well.
