Seattle Seahawks left tackle Charles Cross will be sidelined for the next few weeks because of surgery for a dislocated right ring finger.

Seahawks left tackle Charles Cross underwent finger surgery Wednesday but is expected to be ready by the season opener.

Earlier this offseason in July, the Green Bay Packers signed offensive tackle Zach Tom to a four-year extension worth $88 million (up to $92 million). Miller is now another offensive tackle earning more than $20 million per season. That's probably the starting point for negotiations between Cross and the Seahawks.
