The Orioles’ game Thursday afternoon against the Seattle Mariners included a more than two-hour rain delay in the sixth inning.

Rookie Tomoyuki Sugano earned his 10th victory by working 5 1/3 sharp innings before a lengthy rain delay, and the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Seattle Mariners 5-3 on Thursday.

The Mariners' miserable experience with the Orioles continued Thursday as sloppy play, poor pitching and limited offense sank Seattle's chance to take the series in Baltimore.
