Ex-Auburn safety Caleb Wooden will reunite with two former Auburn assistant coaches at his next collegiate destination.

Former Auburn safety Keionte Scott has announced the next stop on his college journey. Scott, who played in 31 games for Auburn over the previous three seasons, announced this week that he will play his final eligible season at Houston.

Despite losing Wooden and starter Jerrin Thompson, Auburn’s safety room remains in a promising position with the return of Harris and Sylvester Smith. Auburn also added Georgia Tech transfer Taye Seymore at safety and incoming freshmen Anquon Fegans and Eric Winters.

Houston football is adding an impressive talent on defense through transfer portal. The Cougars fought off elite programs like USC to sign a former JUCO standout who has played at Auburn for the past few years.
