Service to Edmonton will return on Sept. 17 and, per Swoop's website, flights will depart twice weekly. Flights to Toronto and Winnipeg will launch the first week in November.

Swoop began flying in June 2018, offering service on several domestic routes in Canada. The U.S. flights that were to begin this month were to be the unit’s first outside of Canada.

US airlines have canceled at least 35,000 flights since June 16, leaving passengers frustrated amid rising travel disruption due to lack of staff and high demand. Swoop was contacted for comment.
