The fire is about two miles north of Kings Highway, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said.

The fire caused all lanes of I-75 to temporarily shut down as crews responded to the fire.

: According to Florida Forest Service, the fire has grown to at least 60 acres and is 85% contained near Yorkshire Boulevard and Blueleaf Drive.

North Pore Fire said the brush fire is contained. However, the department said some buildings were damaged, but the extent is not known.
