Luis A. Vaquero was escorted off the plane by law enforcement after he threatened the captain and flight attendants and harassed passengers during the flight to Newark on Sunday, Feb. 9, the District of New Jersey’s attorney’s office stated in a press release.

Following the announcement, Vaquero got up from his seat and forced his way to the front of the plane, where he started banging on the cockpit door, “yelling and cursing at the captain ” before it reached the gate, the criminal complaint says.

The incident, which was first described by Airlive.net, was said to have taken place on an Iberia flight about to leave Paris for Madrid last week.
