The Los Angeles Rams knocked off the Detroit Lions to remain the top seed in the NFC while Bo Nix tossed four touchdowns to propel the Denver Broncos past the Green Bay Packers and secure his team's spot in the postseason.

There are only 10 teams still alive for the postseason in each conference. The Bengals and Chiefs were eliminated from playoff contention. Kansas City won't be in the playoffs for the first time in 11 years. Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys, 8:20 p.m. Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers, 8:15 p.m.

The Vikings will be officially eliminated from playoff contention if defeated, and for a Cowboys squad that now has just an 11.9% chance to reach the postseason according to CBS' SportsLine model, Dallas is essentially in the same place as their opponent.

The Chiefs have been eliminated from playoff contention. Their 10-year streak of making the playoffs is over. Their nine-year streak of winning the AFC West has come to an end. And their streaks of making the AFC title game in every year of Patrick Mahomes ' career and the Super Bowl in each of the previous three seasons are finished as well.
