Geminids meteor shower peaks this week: What you should know to see the show
The peak shower will appear to the east, coming out of the Gemini constellation, between 8 and 9 p.m. Saturday, and will last through the night. Meteors began falling on Dec. 4 and will continue until Dec. 20, but this weekend will be your best chance to see them.
The Geminid meteor shower will hit its peak the night of Saturday, Dec. 13, and continue into the morning hours of Sunday, Dec. 14. The shower began on Dec. 4 and will end on Dec. 17, according to the IMO. Yes.
High temperatures will range from the mid-60s to near 70 degrees Thursday and mid- to upper 70s Friday before cooler air over the weekend.
