Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Nas X was charged Monday with four felonies stemming from a Friday morning incident where police say he charged at officers while walking naked down a Los Angeles street.

Fans of Lil Nas X were left puzzled and looking for answers after the rapper was arrested in the early hours of August 21. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the rapper, 26, was taken into custody after he attempted to “batter an officer.

Lil Nas X was released from a Los Angeles jail Aug. 25 after an incident with police four days earlier, resulting in felony charges being brought against him. He has pled not guilty to all charges.
